Jessica's personal mission is to use marketing “for good, not evil”. Her 12+ years of experience have focused on marketing for positive social and environmental change among organizations in the west coast and pacific northwest regions. In 2012, Jessica was nominated for San Diego Magazine’s Woman of the Year award, as well as the San Diego “NICKY” award for Outstanding Business Woman. Jessica is currently part-time executive director of Pizza Klatch, a 501(C)(3) nonprofit in Thurston County, WA focused on increasing resiliency for LGBTQ+ youth through support, empowerment and education. She consults with nonprofits and for-profits, specializing in strategic marketing, planning, copywriting, and creative brand management for client projects. She has worked with national and international clients such as Scholastic, Nestle Purina, and Junior Achievement as well as grassroots clients such as the San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering and San Diego Science Alliance. In her free time, Jessica enjoys hiking with her girlfriend and their two dogs, cycling (often to raise funds for HIV and AIDS prevention) and volunteering at local habitat restorations and food banks. She has a B.A. in Business Management from San Francisco State University, where she was captain of her NCAA collegiate basketball team.
